  1. WELCOME TO THE ANIMAZING SCREEN SAVER COLLECTION
  2.                  FROM SPRINGSOFT !

  5. To use any Animazing Screen Saver Module, you will require :
  6.  
  7.     Minimum 386 PC Compatible with 2 Mb RAM
  8.     MS Windows 3.1 or higher
  9.     VBRUN300.DLL
  10.  
  11. To Install this module, copy  the '.SCR' file you have unzipped into 
  12. your WINDOWS directory. If you are unsure where this directory is, 
  13. use a windows search to find other files that end in ".SCR".
  14.  
  15. Some modules have other files associated with them; for instance,
  16. 'Tags'R'Us' has a text file (TAGSRUS.TXT) which contains a list of
  17. grafitti. These files should also go in your Windows directory.
  18.  
  19. Once you have moved the file to your Windows directory, you will 
  20. be able to setup and test the module from within Control Panel (click the
  21. Desktop icon). Alternatively, if you have the Animazing Randomizer, you 
  22. can run and setup the module from there.

  25. HOW TO TELL WINDOWS YOU WANT TO USE AN ANIMAZING MODULE AS YOUR SAVER

  27. Each module is fully functional, with the sole exception that if you 
  28. are unregistered, you can  *** NOT *** configure the module as a screen 
  29. saver. You can customize it and test it out to your heart's content, but
  30. it will not automatically run if you select it as your default saver.
  31. Instead it will display the setup screen for that module.

  33. Registration currently costs ú25. When you register, you will receive a personalised 
  34. ID code which enables all Animazing modules (even future releases!).
  35.  
  36. Thats right, a single one time registration entitles you to use ANY/ALL of 
  37. the Animazing modules as they become available. There are loads out there 
  38. already, including EXTERMINATED, TAGS'R'US, OLDE FOULMOUTH, RIBBIT, MOO COWS,
  39. ACID RAIN, NUKES, FIRES and many more
  40. - as an example, another 10 were added to the collection last month!
  41. Your ú25 is potentially giving you access to an unlimited number 
  42. of wild savers...and where else are you going to find this level of
  43. bad taste?!!

  45. Pressing the 'Registration Details' button on any module will open a 
  46. simple dialog box allowing you to complete the registration process by 
  47. typing in your personal ID code.

  68. New modules appear first on CompuServe, followed by good Shareware
  69. houses, Magazine cover disks and selected sites on the Internet.

  71. THE ANIMAZING RANDOMIZER
  72. This is a simple utility which allows you to tell Windows which
  73. screen savers you like. Windows will then choose one of these
  74. preferred modules at random whenever it is time to screen save. 
  75. Obviously, this utility is only of use to registered users, and is 
  76. really neat, as you can pick and choose any or all the savers you have
  77. on your system, even those from other vendors (as long as they follow the 
  78. standard Windows SCR saver format; e.g. Roaches, or Cows).

  80. TO SHARE OR NOT TO SHARE
  81. The Animazing modules are shareware; you may distribute them as and
  82. how you see fit (although you may not make a charge for them). Your
  83. personalised ID code may NOT be distributed under ANY circumstances.

  86. If you have any ideas for particularly gruesome / off the wall savers,

  90. FINALLY
  91. As these graphical savers are pretty heavy on system resources, it is
  92. a good idea to download a few and make sure that your PC configuration 
  93. can deal with them. Our recommended minimum system is at least a
  94. 386DX with 4 Mb RAM (really the bare minimum needed to run Windows 3.1
  95. effectively). If an Animazing module refuses to run, try closing down 
  96. one or more applications to free up resources, and try again.

  101. LICENSE TERMS (LEGAL STUFF)

  103. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software.

  106. LIMITED WARRANTY

  108. The software comprising 'Animazing Screen Saver Collection' and all related
  109. documentation are provided 'AS IS'. Animazing disclaims all other warranties, 
  110. either express or implied, including (but not limited to) implied warranties
  111. of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the
  112. software and the accompanying documentation.

  114. In no event shall Animazing or its suppliers accept liability for any damages
  115. whatsoever (including damages for loss of business profits, business 
  116. interruption, loss of information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of 
  117. the use of or inability to use the software.

  119. Whilst Animazing have taken every precaution to ensure that the software
  120. and accompanying documentation are free from defects, the Company's entire
  121. liability and your exclusive remedy shall be replacement of the software 
  122. that does not meet this limited warranty if such is returned to the Company 
  123. with a copy of your receipt. This limited warranty is void if failure of 
  124. the software has resulted from accident, deliberate mis-use or malicious 
  125. activity by a third party.
